Originally a supermarket, this beloved community staple made it's debut in 1983. Named after the eldest of four of the Guerra family, its main goal was to offer a variety of products to locals. From a bakery with a prize wheel to choose you're dessert of the day, to specialty cuts offered daily by our in-house butcher - we made it our best effort to include a little bit of everything for everyone. Despite tough chain competitors and a difficult economy, in 2001 Mariel's Supermarket officially closed, but its name left us reminiscing about the good old days.

Now we're back, stronger than ever and with a new mindset in place. We want to cater to our beloved community by offering quality meats and specialty goods you wouldn't find just anywhere. We've made it our mission to keep it small but characteristic with a good slice of hospitality on the side. We hope you enjoy this journey as much as we do!
